''Too Many Cooks'' is a British cookery competition that aired on ITV from 1 November 2004 to 4 September 2005 and hosted by Kate Garraway for the first series and Jeni Barnett for the second series. The judges for the first series were Brian Turner and James Martin while the second series judges were Gino D'Acampo Gennaro Sheffield D'Acampo (born Gennaro D'Acampo; 17 July 1976) is an Italian celebrity chef, television personality, and writer. Kate Garraway
Kathryn Mary Draper-Garraway (born 4 May 1967) is an English broadcaster and journalist. In the 1990s, Garraway was a journalist for ITV News Central and later a co-presenter of ITV News Meridian. From 2000 to 2010, she co-presented GMTV. Currently, Garraway is the presenter of ''Mid Mornings with Kate Garraway'' on Smooth Radio and newsreader (on Thursdays) and co-anchor (on Fridays) of the ITV Breakfast programme '' Good Morning Britain''. Jeni Barnett (born 24 March 1949 in London) is an English TV presenter. Early life Barnett grew up in Borehamwood. Television career As an actress, Barnett appeared on several TV shows, including ''Revolting Women'' (BBC2, 1981) and ''Doctors''. Brian Turner (chef)
Brian James Turner (born 7 May 1946) is a British chef, writer and TV personality based in London. He appeared as a cook on BBC2's ''Ready Steady Cook'' from 1994, has appeared on numerous occasions on '' Saturday Kitchen'' and has also presented various other cookery programmes. Career Turner was born in Halifax, West Riding of Yorkshire. During his early career, his mentor was the food writer and broadcaster Michael Smith. Turner trained at various hotels and restaurants, including Simpson's in the Strand and the Savoy Grill, both under Richard Shepherd. ITV Day was a programming block that broadcast on ITV1 from 9.25 am until 6.00 pm on weekdays and launched on 11 April 2005. The presentation was created by Bruce Dunlop Associates and said "ITV Day effectively creates a new brand, a change in programming and schedule will alter viewer perception".
