''Too Blind to See It'' is the only album by American singer Kym Sims, released in 1992. It was produced by Steve "Silk" Hurley and includes the worldwide hit single " Too Blind to See It" which reached number 38 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and number five in the UK Singles Chart. Kym Sims
Kym Sims (born December 28, 1966) is an American singer whose biggest success came outside her home market, most notably the Scandinavian countries and the United Kingdom. Sims began her career as an advertising jingle singer before breaking through into the dance music market. Following a battle with alcohol addiction, Sims returned to the Billboard Dance Charts reaching #6 with "Turn It Up" in 2017. Career Working with record producer Steve "Silk" Hurley, Sims' dance anthem " Too Blind to See It" enjoyed particular success in the United Kingdom, where it spent 12 weeks on the UK Singles Chart in 1991–1992, peaking at number five. Take My Advice
"Take My Advice" is a song by American singer and songwriter Kym Sims, co-written and produced by Steve "Silk" Hurley. It is the follow-up to her successful 1991 debut, " Too Blind to See It", and was released in March 1992 by Atco and EastWest as the second single from her album by the same name (1992). It became a club hit, peaking at number 13 on the UK Singles Chart and number five on the US ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Songs chart. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it reached number 42. In 2015, Sims released new remixes, as "Take My Advice" (The 2015 Remixes) part 1 and 2. Critical reception Larry Flick from ''Billboard'' described the song as a "engaging, pop-flavored houser", noting that a "star-quality vocal performance is inflected with a proper helping of sass and charm". Eric Miller (born in Chicago, Illinois) is an American house music DJ, record producer and remixer. As E-Smoove, he worked for a number of years with Steve "Silk" Hurley and Maurice Joshua, before he hit the U.S. Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1998 with "Deja Vu", which climbed to No. 16.
