Tony O'Donoghue
Tony O'Donoghue is an Irish sports commentator and Group Soccer Correspondent for RTÉ, Ireland's national radio and television broadcaster. He reports on Republic of Ireland, League of Ireland, UEFA Champions League and English Premier League games, and occasionally presented RTÉ's ''Monday Night Soccer'' programme, as well as presenting and reporting on various live games for RTÉ Television. Career O'Donoghue became known for his reports on the events in Saipan that saw Ireland captain Roy Keane leave the Republic of Ireland camp before the FIFA World Cup in Japan and Korea. Stephen Ireland
Stephen James Ireland (born 22 August 1986) is an Irish former professional Association football, footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Ireland played as a youth player with Cobh Ramblers F.C., Cobh Ramblers before joining English club Manchester City F.C., Manchester City in 2001 at the age of 18. He made his professional debut in September 2005 and soon established himself as a regular at the City of Manchester Stadium. 1995 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final
The 1995 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final was the 108th All-Ireland Final and the deciding match of the 1995 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, an inter-county Gaelic football tournament for the top teams in Ireland. It was the story of Charlie Redmond, the man who was sent off twice in the same All-Ireland final. Pre-game Redmond sustained a groin injury while practising free-taking on the Thursday ahead of the match. Charlie Redmond
Charles Redmond (born 1963/1964) is a Dublin-born former Gaelic footballer who played at senior level for the Dublin county football team, Dublin county team and current manager of Trinity Gaels GAA, Trinity Gaels seniors. His notoriety within the game was secured during the 1995 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final when he was sent off but refused to leave the field of play; as a result, the GAA introduced Penalty card#Red card, red and Penalty card#Yellow card, yellow cards to the sport. Feargal Logan is a Gaelic football manager and former player, who was a starting member of the Tyrone county team that reached the 1995 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final. Legal career Since retiring from play, Logan's name has become more known in GAA circles for his work as a lawyer, representing players in disciplinary hearings, most famously reducing Ryan McMenamin's suspension in 2005 to allow him to play the crunch quarter final game against Dublin, by pointing out that the Central Disciplinary Committee had no authority to use television footage when considering a player's punishment. A form of football, it is played between two teams of 15 players on a rectangular grass pitch.
