Tomás Roncero
Tomás Fernandez de Gamboa Roncero (born in Villarrubia de los Ojos, Ciudad Real on May 9, 1965), better known as Tomás Roncero, is a Spanish sports journalist. In the written press, he is editor-in-chief of the newspaper ''As'', on radio, he is a member of the commentary team at '' Carrusel Deportivo'' on Cadena SER and on television, he is one of the commentators of the program '' El chiringuito de Jugones''. Biography His father was born in Villarrubia de los Ojos and his mother in Herencia, both in the province of Ciudad Real. When he was only 18 months old, his family emigrated to Madrid. With a degree in journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid, he began working as an editor in Madrid for two newspapers belonging to the Godó Group: ''Mundo Deportivo'' (1985–1989) and '' La Vanguardia'' (1989–1992). Villarrubia De Los Ojos
Villarrubia de los Ojos is a municipality of Spain located in the province of Ciudad Real, Castilla–La Mancha. The municipality spans across a total area of 281.86 km2 and, as of 1 January 2020, it has a registered population of 9,762. Geography The Ojos del Guadiana are located within the Villarrubia de los Ojos municipal territory. They are the source of the Guadiana river, the fourth longest river of the Iberian peninsula. ''El Larguero'' (lit, The Crossbar) is a Spanish radio sports program that concentrates mostly on football discussion. The program began on Cadena SER in 1989, and is broadcast daily from 11:30 pm to 1:30 am. Intereconomía TV (commonly referred as "Intereconomía") is a Spanish television network centered on political and economic news from a right-wing political point of view. However, in 2010, Intereconomía TV has renewed its content and is now a national television channel; because of this, in 2010 Intereconomía Corporation has created Intereconomía Business, a channel dedicated to economic and financial news.
