Goran Tomić
Goran Tomić (; born 18 March 1977) is a Croatian professional football manager and former player who is currently the manager of UAE Pro League club Al Nasr SC. He started his managerial career with his hometown club HNK Šibenik in the Prva HNL in 2011. His previous managerial successes came while at Lokomotiva between 2017 and 2021 and HNK Rijeka between 2021 and 2022. Playing career Tomić started his professional football career at his hometown club HNK Šibenik in the Croatian Prva HNL where he grew up no more than 50 meters away from the Šubićevac Stadium. He progressed through all the age groups within the club before finally breaking into the first team in 1994. In 1997 he moved to Vicenza which paid €700,000 for his services. Milan Tomić ( sr, Милaн Томић, Greek: Μίλαν Τόμιτς (Milan Tomits); born July 24, 1973) is a Serbian-Greek professional basketball coach and former player. Tomić has spent almost all of his professional playing and coaching career in Greece, after he took Greek nationality, under the name of Milan Giannakopoulos (Greek: Μίλαν Γιαννακόπουλος). Ivan Tomić (Serbian Cyrillic: Иван Томић; born 5 January 1976) is a Serbian football manager and former player. Club career After coming through the youth categories of Radnički Beograd, Tomić joined Partizan in the summer of 1993, aged 17. He made his debut for the club during the 1993–94 season, as they won the double. Tomić made a couple of appearances in his first two seasons as a senior, before becoming a first team regular in the 1995–96 season. He subsequently became one of the club's key players, scoring 10 league goals in the 1996–97 season. Jakov "Jaša" Tomić ( sr-cyr, Јаков Јаша Томић; 23 October 1856 – 22 October 1922) was a Serbian journalist, politician and author from the Serbian region of Vojvodina, which was part of the Austrian Empire when he was born. Modoš, a town in the Serbian part of Banat, was renamed in his honor in 1924. Biography At the time of his birth in 1856, the town of Vršac was part of the Voivodeship of Serbia and Banat of Temeschwar crown land in the post-1849 Habsburg monarchy. Aleksandra Tomić ( sr-Cyrl, Александра Томић; born 26 April 1969) is a Serbian politician. She is currently serving her sixth term in the Serbian national assembly and has held leading positions in the assembly's oversight of finance and the economy. Tomić is a member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS). Dragan Tomić ( sr, Драган Томић; 9 December 1935 – 21 June 2022) was a Serbian politician, a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia, who was the President of the National Assembly of Serbia, holding the position from 1994 to 2001. Considered a loyal supporter of Slobodan Milošević, Tomić was director of RTV Politika, one of Serbia's main TV stations, and director of Jugopetrol AD, the state oil company. Mijat Tomić
Mijat Tomić (died 1656) was a hajduk who led brigands which fought against Ottoman Empire rule in present-day Bosnia and Herzegovina. Biography He was born in the village of Brišnik near Tomislavgrad. Although his exact birth date is uncertain, Mijat is said to have lost his parents at a young age, and by 1640, was known to have had at least two brothers and two sisters. As a child, Mijat was reputed to have been physically strong, a characteristic that was later proven in future battles. One legend states that he won while competing in some games popular with the local Muslim population. The defeat did not sit well with the Muslims and they decided that he should be killed. Mijat then fled to the mountain Vran, marking the beginning of his life as a hajduk. Đorđe Tomić (; born 11 November 1972) is a Serbian former footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Tomić made his senior debut for Partizan in the second part of the 1992–93 season, as the club won the championship. Fabjan Tomić (born 15 June 1995) is a Croatian football goalkeeper, currently playing for NK Špansko. Career His father Sandro Tomić was also goalkeeper of Hajduk Split and his currently goalkeeping coach in Turkmenistan national football team. He started training football at the age of 6 at NK Zagreb, where his father had played. Danica Tomić
Danica Tomić ( sr-Cyrl, Даница Томић; 25 July 1905 – 16 December 1961) was the first woman pilot in Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia and modern-day Serbia and the first woman with the pilot certification. Danica Tomić was married to pilot Miodrag Tomić, which gave her access to books and materials related to aviation. In 1928, on the occasion of celebration of 15th anniversary of Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, Tomić performed aerobatic maneuvers as a first woman in Yugoslavia to do so. In 1930 she applied for the call published in ''Politika'' newspaper for course for reserve pilots at the Civil School for Pilots in Belgrade. Dario Tomić (born 23 June 1987) is a Croatian footballer who plays for German amateur side FC Blaubeuren.
