Tokio Hotel Discography
The discography of German band Tokio Hotel consists of seven studio albums, three live albums, four Extended play, EPs, two compilation albums, thirty-six single (music), singles, thirty-nine music videos, seven lyric videos, five video albums and one movie. Tokio Hotel was formed in 2001 in Magdeburg, Germany, by singer Bill Kaulitz, guitarist Tom Kaulitz, bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schäfer. The group's debut single, "Durch den Monsun", entered the Media Control Charts, German singles chart at Number 15 on 20 August 2005, and reached Number 1 the following week. It also reached Number 1 on the Ö3 Austria Top 40, Austrian singles chart. It was followed up with the single "Schrei (song), Schrei", which failed to match the success of "Durch den Monsun"; its highest chart position was Number 3 in Austria. Tokio Hotel is a German music band formed in 2001 by singer Bill Kaulitz, guitarist Tom Kaulitz, bassist Georg Listing, and drummer Gustav Schäfer. Starting from the foundation, the band's music genres were pop rock and alternative rock; since 2014, the band began to perform electropop and synth-pop. After recording a demo album under the name "Devilish" and having their contract with Sony BMG Germany terminated, the band released their first German-language album, '' Schrei'', as Tokio Hotel on Universal Music Germany in 2005. ''Schrei'' sold more than half-a-million copies worldwide and spawned four top-five singles in both Germany and Austria. Rette Mich (Tokio Hotel Song)
"Rette mich" () is a song by German rock band Tokio Hotel, released as the third single from their debut album, ''Schrei'' (2005). The single version of "Rette mich", re-recorded as lead singer Bill Kaulitz's voice began to deepen, formed part of the '' Schrei - so laut du kannst'' release. The band later recorded an English-language version of the song, entitled "Rescue Me", for their third studio album ''Scream''. Music video The video involves the band playing in what looks like a boarded-up, abandoned room. The walls of the room start closing in on the second verse. The main storyline of the video however, is about lead singer Bill Kaulitz singing in a similar room, alone. As he gets up, he finds it hard to keep his balance - he keeps sliding around everywhere. He tries to grab hold of objects numerous times, but in the end gives up and slides; at this moment the rest of the band appears in the room. Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles (also known as Bubbling Under the Hot 100) is a chart published weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine in the United States. The chart lists the top songs that have not yet charted on the main ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Chart rankings are based on radio airplay, sales, and streams. "Durch den Monsun" () and "Monsoon" are songs by German pop rock band Tokio Hotel. The German version of "Durch den Monsun" was released as the band's debut single in 2005 from their debut album, ''Schrei''. The album ''Schrei'' also contains the Japanese version of the song. An English version named "Monsoon" was later recorded and included in the band's first English album, ''Scream'', and released as their first English single in 2007. ''Scream'' is the debut English studio album and the third overall studio album by German band Tokio Hotel. It contains English versions of songs from their previous albums '' Schrei'' and '' Zimmer 483'': eight of the twelve songs come from ''Zimmer 483'' while the remaining four originated from ''Schrei''. The name ''Scream'' is the English translation of the name of the first Tokio Hotel album, '' Schrei''. In German-speaking countries, the album was released as ''Room 483'' – the English translation of their second album's name ("''Zimmer 483''").
