Today Forever
''Today Forever'' is an EP by British rock band Ride, released in March 1991. The EP debuted at No.14 and No.1 on the Indie Chart in the UK. The first three songs also appeared in the US on the "Vapour Trail" CD-single. All four songs from the EP were added to the ''Nowhere'' album as bonus tracks on its re-release in 2001, 20th anniversary reissue in 2011, and 25th anniversary reissue in 2015. In November 2022, all four songs were made available on ‘4EPs’, a compilation of Ride’s first four EPs made available together for the first time and packaged as one gatefold album on white vinyl and in CD format. Ride (band)
Ride are an English rock band formed in Oxford in 1988. The band consists of vocalists and guitarists Andy Bell and Mark Gardener, drummer Laurence "Loz" Colbert and bassist Steve Queralt. They have been recognised as one of the key pioneers of shoegaze, an alternative rock subgenre that emerged to prominence in the United Kingdom during the early 1990s. The band's first two albums, ''Nowhere'' (1990) and '' Going Blank Again'' (1992), have been critically acclaimed as two of the greatest shoegaze albums of all time. The latter's lead single, " Leave Them All Behind", was the band's most commercially successful song, reaching No. 9 on the UK Singles Chart. Both ''Going Blank Again'' and its 1994 follow-up, ''Carnival of Light'', peaked at No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart. Angus Cameron (director)
Angus Cameron (born 1966) is a BAFTA Scotland nominated director. Cameron's first documentary, ''Ibiza - A Short Film About Chilling'', is a 'classic' record of the Ibiza club scene in 1990. Loz Colbert
Laurence John "Loz" Colbert (born 27 June 1970) is an English musician, best known as the drummer in Ride and formerly of The Animalhouse, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Supergrass and Gaz Coombes. His drumming style has been characterized as furious, drawing comparisons to Keith Moon. Early life Colbert was born in Kingston upon Thames, England and grew up in the Cotswolds. As he was in a relatively isolated area, Colbert had spent a lot of time in his bedroom listening to music as well as practicing the drums as there were few distractions or neighbors to be concerned about.
