Yoan "ToD" Merlo is a French former professional player of the real-time strategy games ''Warcraft III'' and ''Starcraft II''. In ''WarCraft III'' he played as the Human race and in ''StarCraft'' he played as Protoss. he was signed to the top esports team in the United Kingdom, Four-Kings, until 7 November 2007, when he decided not to renew his contract for unspecified reasons. He later explained in an interview that the dissatisfying results of the Four Kings team were the reason for his departure. After much speculation, Merlo unexpectedly joined the team Mousesports on 1 December 2007. History The channel was launched launched by CJ in September 2000 as LOOK TV, a fashion channel. On October 2, it doubled its airtime from 9 hours to 18 and increased its productions. In late March 2001, it and Dramanet were acquired by MBC. With the acquisition, the channel was reformatted as GEMBC, a game channel, before becoming MBC Game in 2003. The Electronic Sports World Convention (ESWC) (formerly known as Electronic Sports World Cup) was an international professional gaming championship. Every year, winners of national qualifier events around the world earned the right to represent their country in the ESWC Finals.
