"Times Like These" is a song by American rock band Foo Fighters. It is the fourth track from their fourth album '' One by One'', and was released as its second single in 2003. Composition The lyrics discuss how Dave Grohl felt "like I wasn't entirely myself" during the three-month hiatus the Foo Fighters entered following the tense and unsatisfying first recording sessions for ''One by One'', as well as his uncertainty about the future of the band. The lyric "I'm a new day rising" is a reference to the album '' New Day Rising'' by Hüsker Dü, one of Grohl's favorite groups. "Times Like These" is in D Mixolydian mode and the section that begins at 0:13 is in 7/4 time. The chorus of the song is also grouped in bars of 3 rather than the regular bars of 4. The intro starts in 8/4 time for 4 bars, then switches to 7/4 for 8 bars and then 3 bars of 8/4 again before leading into the first verse, which is also in 8/4. It is set at 145 BPM. "Times Like These" is song by American singer Addison Rae from her debut studio album '' Addison'', released through Columbia Records and As Long As I'm Dancing LLC on June 6, 2025. It is a trip hop track written by Rae and its producers, Elvira Anderfjärd and Luka Kloser. A reflective and tender number, it talks about Rae's struggles in life. "Times Like These" received an accompanying music video, set as a behind-the-scenes montage of a dance performance, directed by Ethan James Green. Rae debuted the song live during the album listening event in New York City. ''Download to Donate for Haiti'' is a compilation album by various artists. It was released on January 19, 2010 through Machine Shop and Warner Bros. Records. The album was produced by Mike Shinoda and co-produced by Enrique Iglesias. American rock band Linkin Park started a project called Music for Relief in 2005, which has done relief work for the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004, the 2010 Haiti earthquake, the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami and Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Linkin Park released a single for the album titled as " Not Alone", which was recorded for their third studio album ''Minutes to Midnight'', as the first and introductory track on this album. The single was released almost after two years of the release of the album, due to the release of their fourth album '' A Thousand Suns''. ''Born Free'' is the eighth studio album by American musician Kid Rock. It was released on November 16, 2010 with the title track as its lead single. The country-oriented album was produced by Rick Rubin featuring several high-profile artists such as T.I., Sheryl Crow, and Bob Seger.
