''Time's Arrow'' is the seventh studio album by English electronic music band Ladytron. It was released on 20 January 2023, via the label Cooking Vinyl. Singles ''Time's Arrow'' was supported by three singles. The first single, "City of Angels" was released on 14 October 2022. It was accompanied by a music video directed by Manuel Nogueira that was released on 26 October. "Misery Remember Me" was the second single and was released on 11 November 2022. The third single, "Faces" was released on 5 December 2022, and accompanied by a music video released on 17 January 2023. Critical reception The music review website ''Pitchfork'' gave ''Time's Arrow'' a rating of 6.9 and described it as "capturing the passage of time in effervescent synths and impressionistic lyrics." Ladytron
Ladytron are an electronic band formed in Liverpool in 1999. The group consists of Helen Marnie (lead vocals, synthesizers), Mira Aroyo (vocals, synthesizers), and Daniel Hunt (synthesizers, guitar, vocals). Reuben Wu (synthesizers) was a member from 1999 until 2023. They have released seven studio albums: '' 604'' (2001), '' Light & Magic'' (2002), '' Witching Hour'' (2005), '' Velocifero'' (2008), '' Gravity the Seducer'' (2011), '' Ladytron'' (2019) and '' Time's Arrow'' (2023). Cooking Vinyl is a British independent record label, based in Acton, London, England. It was founded in 1986 by former manager and booking agent Martin Goldschmidt and his business partner Pete Lawrence. Daniel Hunt is an English musician, songwriter and producer. He is a founding member, principal songwriter and producer of the electronic band Ladytron. Biography Hunt met Reuben Wu in Liverpool in 1995 and formed Ladytron with him in 1999, along with Mira Aroyo and Helen Marnie. In 2003 Hunt set up the Liverpool club Evol, and in 2005 he collaborated on the celebrated Korova bar in the city. In addition to the band, he also DJs around the world both solo and with other band members. His vocals are featured in the Ladytron' songs "International Dateline" and "Versus". Helen Lindsay Marnie (born 21 February 1978) is a Scottish musician, known as the lead vocalist and one of the keyboardists and songwriters of the electronic band Ladytron. In 2012, she started a solo career as Marnie and released her debut solo album '' Crystal World'' on 11 June 2013. Her second solo album, '' Strange Words and Weird Wars'', was released on 2 June 2017. Biography Helen Marnie was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. She is a classically trained pianist. Mira Aroyo (, ; born 1977) is a Bulgarian-born English singer, musician, songwriter, DJ, and geneticist. She is best known as the keyboardist, co-lead vocalist, and co-songwriter of the electronic band Ladytron, which she co-founded in Liverpool in 1999.
