Horon () is a group of traditional folk dances from the East Black Sea Region (statistical), Eastern Black Sea Region in Turkey. Name Etymology The term ''horon'' derives from Greek ''Choros (dance), choros'' (, see wiktionary, chorus), which means "dance." The earliest instance of its usage in a Turkic language is in Codex Cumanicus from 1303. In the provinces of Ordu Province, Ordu and Giresun Province, Giresun, the term ''horan'' is used instead of ''horon''. Variants Over 50 variations of horon have been identified in a single region. Origin ''Horon'' or ''horonu'' is the Turkish equivalent of the serra (dance), ''serra'' war dance of the Pontian Greeks, resembling the ancient Greek ''Pyrrhic'' armed dance. TIK (band)
TIK () is a Ukrainian folk rock band with heavy influences of ska. It was formed in 2005 in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. The band's name is an abbreviation of the Ukrainian phrase "" which means "Sobriety and Culture". History TIK can trace its origin in 2000 when the history student Viktor Broniuk (vocals, accordion) and the music student Denys Repey (bass guitar) in Vinnytsia decided to form a band that they called TIK from the Ukrainian phrase "". In 2003 they were joined by the guitarist Kostiantyn Terepa and the drummer Oleksandr Filinkov. The band made their first real public appearance at a concert in Vinnytsia on June 2, 2005, and that date is considered to be the birthday of the band. In the autumn of 2005 the band was joined by Yuriy Martsyniuk (keyboards and saxophone) and shortly after that the band recorded its first demo tape. Tiu Keng Leng station is an MTR station located in Tiu Keng Leng. The station features cross-platform interchange between the and the , and serves as the eastern terminus of the Kwun Tong line and the western terminus of the Tseung Kwan O line for LOHAS Park shuttle. It is located between Tseung Kwan O and Yau Tong stations on the Tseung Kwan O line, and proceeds to Yau Tong station on the Kwun Tong line.
