Ti Amo
"Ti amo" (; Italian for "I love you") is a 1977 song recorded by Italian singer Umberto Tozzi from the album ''È nell'aria...ti amo''. It achieved success at the time, becoming a hit in many European countries, including Sweden and Switzerland where it topped the charts. A Spanish version was released as "Te Amo", and had a good success in Spain and Latin America. Within the German-speaking countries a German version by Howard Carpendale also received a great success in 1977, peaking at number two in Germany and number ten in Austria. A duet version of the song featuring Monica Bellucci was used for the 2002 film '' Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra'', and the English versions "I Love You (Ti Amo)" and "You and I (Ti Amo)" were also released. Umberto Antonio Tozzi (; born 4 March 1952) is an Italian pop and rock singer and songwriter. Throughout his career, he has sold over 70 million records in different languages internationally, and his biggest international hits are: " Stella Stai", " Gloria", " Tu" and "Ti Amo". Biography Tozzi was born on 4 March 1952 in Turin, Italy. He is the second son of Nicola Tozzi, a police officer originally from Vico del Gargano, and Immacolata from Montesarchio. They immigrated to Turin in 1945. In 1968, at the age of 16, Umberto Tozzi joined 'Off Sound', one of the many groups that performed in small venues around Turin. In Milan, he met Adriano Pappalardo, with whom he formed a 13-piece band and began a large-scale Italian tour. "Satisfaction" is a song by American singer Laura Branigan, released as the fourth and final single from her third studio album, ''Self Control'' (1984). The song's music was written by Bernd Dietrich, Gerd Grabowski and Engelbert Simons, and the English lyrics were written by Mark Spiro and Diane Warren. It was produced by Jack White and Robbie Buchanan. Release "Satisfaction" was released as a single in November 1984 in both Europe and the US.
