This article discusses tie-ins for '' Thunderbirds'', a British Supermarionation television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and produced by AP Films (later Century 21 Productions). Dave Morris (game Designer)
David John Morris (born 19 March 1957) is a British author of gamebooks, novels and comics and a designer of computer games and role-playing games. Education Dave Morris graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford, where he read Physics from 1976 until 1979. Writer Morris began his writing career in 1984 by writing the fantasy adventure gamebook ''Crypt of the Vampire'', part of the ''Golden Dragon'' series published by Grafton Books in the UK and Berkley Books in the US. The following year, Morris and Oliver Johnson created the '' Dragon Warriors'' role-playing game. ''Dragon Warriors'' was an attempt at releasing a role-playing game in a series of paperback books. World Distributors (known colloquially as "Pembertons") was a British publisher and distributor of magazines and comic books. The company was known for repackaging American comics and producing comic book annuals based on licensed properties. For a period, the company was the lone distributor of American comics in the UK. Hood (Thunderbirds)
The Hood is a fictional criminal and terrorist and the recurring villain of the 1960s puppet television series '' Thunderbirds'' and its adaptations. He is the primary antagonist of the International Rescue organisation, founded by Jeff Tracy. In the original series, the character possesses powers of hypnosis and telepathy and uses an array of disguises to carry out his activities undetected. He operates from a temple in the Malaysian jungle. In most of his original series appearances, the Hood's objectives are to steal International Rescue's technological secrets and make a fortune by selling them to the criminal underworld. Scott Tracy
The Tracy family are the main characters in the 1960s British Supermarionation television series '' Thunderbirds'' and its adaptations, set in the 21st century. Originating from the United States, the family live on Tracy Island in the South Pacific Ocean. Brains is a fictional character introduced in the British 1960s Supermarionation television series '' Thunderbirds'', who also appears in the sequel films '' Thunderbirds Are Go'' (1966) and ''Thunderbird 6'' (1968) and the 2004 live-action adaptation '' Thunderbirds''. The puppet character was voiced by David Graham in the TV series and the first two films, while Anthony Edwards played the role for the live-action film.
