Those Days (novel)
''Those Days'' ( bn, সেই সময়) is a historical novel by Sunil Gangopadhyay. It was first published as a serialized novel in the Bengali literary magazine '' Desh''. Gangopadhyay won the Sahitya Akademi Award for the novel in 1985. The story centers around the life of Nabinkumar (character based on Kaliprasanna Singha), along with legendary historical figures including Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, the reformer; Michael Madhusudan Dutt, the poet; the father and son duo of Dwarkanath Tagore and Debendranath Tagore; Harish Mukherjee, the journalist; Keshab Chandra Sen, the Brahmo Samaj radical; David Hare and John Bethune, the English educationists; Dinabandhu Mitra, the playwright; Radhanath Sikdar Radhanath Sikdar (Bengali: রাধানাথ শিকদার; 5 October 1813 – 17 May 1870) was an Indian mathematician who is best known for calculating the height of Mount Everest. Intoxication (Shaggy Album)
''Intoxication'' is the eighth studio album released by Jamaican rapper Shaggy. The album was released on October 22, 2007, to critical acclaim, but without major chart success. The album was re-issued in September 2008 to include additional tracks, remixes and music videos. Four singles were released from the album: "Church Heathen", "Bonafide Girl", which features guest vocals from Rikrok and Tony Gold, "Feel the Rush", the official single for Euro 2008 (which only appears on the subsequent re-issue of the album) and "What's Love", featuring R&B singer Akon. Critical reception David Jeffries of Allmusic said the following of the album: "Shaggy's last effort, '' Clothes Drop'', was widely ignored in the States and only semi-accepted in the United Kingdom and Europe. ''Get Rollin is the tenth studio album by Canadian rock band Nickelback. The album was released on November 18, 2022. The album's lead single "San Quentin" was released on September 7, 2022, accompanied by an official lyric video. On May 12, 2023, Nickelback announced an expanded deluxe edition of the album will be released on June 3, 2023, with an alternate blue cover. Background In early 2019, band members spoke of recording a tenth studio album, though Chad Kroeger conceded there was no timetable or rush for the band to complete it. Mike Kroeger spoke of his personal desire to move in more of a heavy metal direction, or wanting to do an album of Slayer cover songs. ''In Those Days'' (german: In jenen Tagen) is a 1947 German drama film directed by Helmut Käutner and starring Gert Schäfer, Erich Schellow and Winnie Markus. It was one of the cycle of Rubble films made in the wake of Germany's defeat during World War II. The film addresses issues of collective guilt during the Nazi era, using the device of a car built in 1933 and dismantled in 1947 narrating the various experiences of its owners in a series of seven separate episodes. The film's objective was to highlight the private resistance of various figures to the Nazis even while they publicly accepted the repression of Nazi society. Production The film was produced in Hamburg in the British Zone as part of a growing post-war trend in western Germany of moving film production away from its traditional centre of Berlin.
