Thicker Than Water (Under The Dome)
"Thicker Than Water" is the eighth episode of the first season of the CBS drama '' Under the Dome.'' The episode aired on August 12, 2013. Plot At night, Junior ( Alexander Koch) comes home but Big Jim (Dean Norris) points a gun at him and tells him to leave. The next morning, Big Jim confronts Ollie (Leon Rippy) and gets Barbie ( Mike Vogel), Linda (Natalie Martinez), Junior and a volunteer (Jimmy Gonzalez) to take the well from Ollie. However, when they arrive, a number of Ollie's men with guns appear and shoot the volunteer in the leg. Junior then betrays his father and joins Ollie's side. While Jim is rounding up volunteers to attack Ollie's farm, Barbie and Linda plan to blow the well up so that the other wells' water is returned. Barbie tries to get Big Jim's approval, but he refuses. Meanwhile, Norrie ( Mackenzie Lintz) blames Joe (Colin Ford) for finding the mini-dome and breaks up with him. ''Under the Dome'' is an American science-fiction mystery drama television series. It premiered on CBS on June 24, 2013, and concluded on September 10, 2015. The series was developed by Brian K. Vaughan and based on Stephen King's 2009 novel of the same name. ''Under the Dome'' tells the story of the residents of the fictional small town of Chester's Mill, when a massive, transparent, indestructible dome suddenly cuts them off from the rest of the world. Military forces, the government, and the media positioned outside the barrier attempt to break it down, while the residents trapped inside must find their own ways to survive with diminishing resources and rising tensions. Rachelle Marie Lefèvre (, ; born February 1, 1979) is a Canadian actress. TV by the Numbers was a website devoted to collecting and analyzing television ratings data in the United States that operated from 2007 to 2020. It was a part of Nexstar Media Group's Zap2it television news/listings site. History An Internet and statistical analyst, Robert Seidman had previously worked for IBM and Charles Schwab, and published an online newsletter about the Internet and AOL before founding TV by the Numbers; Bill Gorman had been an AOL executive until 1998, and had read Seidman's column. Friends since the early 1990s when they met near Washington, D.C., both were fond of television, as Gorman loved numbers and Seidman enjoyed statistics relating to it; the subject of television ratings data entered into one of their conversations. ''Siberia'' is an American supernatural drama television series shot in the style of a reality television show where 16 contestants must survive in the Siberian territory of Tunguska. Shortly after arrival, the contestants notice strange things and are abandoned by the production of the reality show. The show was filmed in Birds Hill Provincial Park just north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It premiered on NBC on July 1, 2013. It was met with generally favorable reviews from critics and viewers, with average viewership per episode coming in around 2.03 million viewers. The first season concluded on September 16, 2013. The show was independently financed and only licensed to NBC and therefore has not been officially cancelled.
