	405 Thia Thia (minor planet designation: 405 Thia) is a very large main-belt asteroid. It is classified as a C-type asteroid and is probably composed of carbonaceous material. This object was discovered by Auguste Charlois on July 23, 1895, in Nice, and was named after Theia (sometimes written ''Thea'' or ''Thia''), a Titaness in Greek mythology. In 2002, the asteroid was detected by radar from the Arecibo Observatory at a distance of 1.31 AU. The resulting data yielded an effective diameter of . 	Thia Megia Thialorei Lising Megia (born January 30, 1995) is a Filipino-American singer and television actress. She is known for being a contestant on the tenth season of ''American Idol'' and for starring as Haley Chen on ''Days of Our Lives''. Early life Megia was born in Hayward, California, to Cynthia and Loreto Megia. Her parents, originally from Angeles City, Philippines, emigrated to the United States in 1968 and changed their name from Mejia to Megia.
