Sir Theodore Brinckman, 1st Baronet
Sir Theodore Henry Lavington Brinckman, 1st Baronet (17 January 1798 – 9 February 1880) was a British politician and baronet. Born Theodore Broadhead, he was the son of Theodore Henry Broadhead and his wife Elizabeth Macdougall, daughter of William Gordon Macdougall. In 1842, by Royal Licence, he and his brothers resumed the surname Brinckman, which the family had carried before 1786 and their grandfather had changed. In 1821 he entered the British House of Commons in a by-election for Yarmouth, the same constituency his father has represented before and was a Member of Parliament until 1826. On 30 September 1831, Brinckman was created a baronet, of Burton or Monk Bretton, in the County of York. He married firstly Hon. Charlotte Godolphin Osborne, only daughter of the 1st Baron Godolphin on 29 August 1829. Sir Theodore Brinckman, 2nd Baronet
Sir Theodore Henry Brinckman, 2nd Baronet DL (12 September 1830 – 7 May 1905) was a British Liberal politician and soldier. He was the son of Sir Theodore Brinckman, 1st Baronet and his first wife Hon. Charlotte Godolphin Osborne, only daughter of Francis Osborne, 1st Baron Godolphin. In 1880, he succeeded his father as baronet. Brinckman was educated at Eton and served then in the 17th Regiment of Foot. He fought in the Crimean War and reached the rank of captain. Brinckman was Deputy Lieutenant of Tower Hamlets and sat as Member of Parliament (MP) for Canterbury from 1868 to 1874. On 18 July 1861, he married Lady Cecilia Augusta Conyngham, youngest daughter of Francis Conyngham, 2nd Marquess Conyngham at St George's, Hanover Square. Sir Theodore Brinckman, 4th Baronet
Major Sir Theodore Ernest Warren Brinckman, 4th Baronet (21 May 1898 – 26 July 1954) was an English first-class cricketer. Brinckman was educated at Eton College and served as an officer in the 1st Life Guards during World War I. Brinckman played often for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), and captained teams that toured the Channel Islands and South America. In 1937–38 he took a team to South America called "Sir T. E. W. Brinckman's XI", that played three first-class matches against Argentina, drawing the three match series 1–1.
