The Mentalist
''The Mentalist'' is an American procedural drama television series that ran from September 23, 2008, until February 18, 2015, broadcasting 151 episodes over seven seasons, on CBS. Created by Bruno Heller, who was also its executive producer, the show follows former "psychic" Patrick Jane (Simon Baker), who is a consultant to the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and his boss, senior agent Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney). Jane uses highly developed observational skills to "read" people's minds and to solve murder cases. Synopsis The series follows Patrick Jane, an independent consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI) based in Sacramento, California. Crime Drama
Crime film is a film belonging to the crime fiction genre. Films of this genre generally involve various aspects of crime and fiction. Ashley Gable
Ashley Gable is an American screenwriter and producer who has worked on a variety of well-known television series including ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'' and '' Person of Interest''. She was an executive producer on the CBS crime drama ''The Mentalist'' for its first four seasons. Career Gable's television career began in 1996 when she was recruited onto the writing staff of the first season of Joss Whedon's ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer''. She (and her then-writing partner Thomas A. Swyden) wrote two of the twelve episodes for the season. Red John
Red John is a fictional character and the primary antagonist of the CBS crime drama ''The Mentalist'' for the first five seasons and in the first half of the sixth season. As a serial killer, he is believed to have begun his killing spree in 1988, and has, with his operatives and acolytes, killed more than 70 people in California, Nevada, and Mexico.
