The World Of Quest
''The World of Quest'' is a short-lived comic series by Jason T. Kruse shown on the Komikwerks site as a webcomic and later released as a full-graphic novel. The final chapter on the site is called "Prison Break". There are recently two volumes of The World of Quest available from Yen Press. The second volume, The World of Quest: Volume 2 was nominated for two Harvey Awards in 2009 - ''Best Graphic Album'' and ''Best Artist'' for artist and author Jason Kruse. Yen Press is an American manga, graphic novel and light novel publisher co-owned by Kadokawa Corporation and Hachette Book Group. It published '' Yen Plus'', a monthly comic anthology, between 2008 and 2013. In addition to translated material, Yen Press has published original series, most notably Svetlana Chmakova's '' Nightschool'' and a manga adaptation of James Patterson's ''Maximum Ride''. Harvey Award
The Harvey Awards are given for achievement in comic books. Named for writer-artist Harvey Kurtzman, the Harvey Awards were founded by Gary Groth in 1988, president of the publisher Fantagraphics, to be a successor to the Kirby Awards, which were discontinued in 1987. The Harvey Awards are now nominated by the Harvey Awards Nomination Committee. The winners are selected by an open vote among comic-book professionals. The Harveys are no longer affiliated with Fantagraphics. The Harvey Awards Executive Committee is made up of unpaid volunteers, and the Awards are financed through sponsorships. ''World of Quest'' is a science fiction comedy animated television series based on the graphic novel series of the same name by Jason T. Kruse. The series was produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment, in association with Teletoon and Kids' WB!. It appears to be a parody of the fantasy genre that blends swords and sorcery with technology, in the vein of ''Masters of the Universe''. The show premiered on March 15, 2008, on Kids' WB on The CW in the U.S. and in Canada on Teletoon on August 10, 2008, as a preview, with regular airings starting on September 1, 2008. Kids' WB (stylized as Kids' WB!) was an American children's programming block that originally aired on The WB from September 9, 1995, to September 16, 2006, and later on The CW from September 23, 2006, to May 17, 2008.
