The Turbo A.C.'s
The Turbo A.C.'s are an American punk rock band from New York City, United States, formed in 1995. The band's high-octane sound has led to comparisons with the likes of The Supersuckers and New Bomb Turks. Band history In 1996, the band released their first full-length album, ''Damnation Overdrive'', on New York based hardcore label, Blackout Records. This was followed by releases on Cacophone, Nitro Records and Gearhead Records. The band's catalog features a number of punk personalities producing, including Agnostic Front's Roger Miret and the Dwarves' Blag Dahlia. The band's name is a reference to the Turnbull A.C.'s, a fictional gang featured briefly in the 1979 Walter Hill film, '' The Warriors''. They have frequently toured Europe following releases on the German label, Bitzcore Records. The Warriors (film)
''The Warriors'' is a 1979 American action thriller film directed by Walter Hill. Based on Sol Yurick's 1965 novel of the same name, it was released in the United States in February 1979. The film centers on a fictitious New York City street gang who must travel , from the north end of the Bronx to their home turf in Coney Island in southern Brooklyn, after they are framed for the murder of a respected gang leader. After reports of vandalism and violence, Paramount temporarily halted their advertising campaign and released theater owners from their obligation to show the film. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. A fuel is any material that can be made to react with other substances so that it releases energy as thermal energy or to be used for work. Damnation (from Latin '' damnatio'') is the concept of divine punishment and torment in an afterlife for actions that were committed, or in some cases, not committed on Earth. In Ancient Egyptian religious tradition, citizens would recite the 42 negative confessions of Maat as their heart was weighed against the feather of truth. Motörhead () were an English rock band formed in London in 1975 by Lemmy (lead vocals, bass), Larry Wallis (guitar) and Lucas Fox (drums). The Hellacopters
The Hellacopters are a Swedish garage rock band that was formed in 1994 by Nicke Andersson (vocals and guitar), Andreas Tyrone "Dregen" Svensson (guitar), Kenny Håkansson (bass) and Robert Eriksson (drums). Andersson (sometimes known as Nick Royale) had been the drummer for death metal band Entombed and Dregen was taking a break from his full-time band Backyard Babies. Dregen and Eriksson had been roadies for Entombed, while Håkansson was a childhood friend of Andersson's. The Hellacopters were initially conceived as a side project for Andersson and Dregen, but it eventually became the main songwriting and performance vehicle for Andersson.
