The Streamer Awards
The Streamer Awards is an annual awards show dedicated to live streamers. It was founded in 2022 by Twitch streamer QTCinderella to award and celebrate other streamers, primarily in the Twitch community. Nominees are selected via an online vote by fans and winners are then determined using a weighted combination of the online popular vote (70%) and panelist vote (30%). The show consists of two main segments – a red carpet show that has interviews with the nominees and internet personalities as they arrive for the show, and the main award show where nominees are reviewed and winners are revealed. At various points during the awards portion of the show there are musical performances. Rachell Marie Hofstetter (born January 8, 1992), better known as Valkyrae, is an American online streamer and YouTuber. She is a co-owner of the gaming organization 100 Thieves and founder and CEO of the media company Hihi Studios. Hofstetter began streaming on Twitch (service), Twitch in 2015. She had her breakthrough by playing the competitive online game ''Fortnite'' in 2018 and joined 100 Thieves as their first female content creation, content creator. In 2020, she switched streaming platforms by signing an exclusive contract with YouTube. The Mayan Theater in Los Angeles, California, is a landmark former movie palace and current nightclub and music venue. History The Mayan Theater opened in August 1927 as a performance arts theater specializing in musical comedy. 2024 Streamer Awards
The 2024 Streamer Awards was the fourth edition of The Streamer Awards honoring the best in live streaming in 2022.
