''The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh'' () is a 1971 ''giallo'' film directed by Sergio Martino, and starring George Hilton, Edwige Fenech, Cristina Airoldi, Manuel Gil, Carlo Alighiero, Ivan Rassimov and Alberto de Mendoza. Its plot follows the wife of a diplomat who finds herself being stalked by her former abusive lover in Vienna. The letter "h" was added to the name "Ward" when an Italian woman named Mrs. Ward threatened legal action over the original title's potentially damaging her good name, just before the film was released. Sergio Martino
Sergio Martino (born 19 July 1938) is an Italian film director and producer, notable for his contributions to the giallo genre. Martino is the brother of the late producer Luciano Martino (who died in 2013). They collaborated frequently in their respective professions. Their grandfather was director Gennaro Righelli. Sergio Martino worked for both the big screen as well as for Italian television where he does most of his current work. He often worked with actress Edwige Fenech who throughout the 1970s was married to his brother Luciano. He also worked with many genre actors such as George Hilton (actor), George Hilton (who was married to Sergio's cousin), Anita Strindberg, Ivan Rassimov and Claudio Cassinelli, as well as famed Italian screenwriter Ernesto Gastaldi. Bruno Corazzari
Bruno Corazzari (30 December 1940 – 29 July 2021) was an Italian film, television and stage actor. Life and career Born in Castellarano, Reggio Emilia, Corazzari started his career in the second half of the sixties, playing minor roles in a number of Spaghetti Western films, usually being cast as a bad gunslinger and a member of the villain's band. In a few years he played roles of greater weight in other genres, namely giallo, poliziotteschi and adventure films. He was also active in art films, working with Marco Bellocchio, Franco Brocani and Maurizio Ponzi, among others. Since the late 1970s Corazzari focused his activities on television, appearing on numerous TV-movies and series, sometimes in main roles. Corazzari died in Nepi on 29 July 2021, at the age of 80.
