''The Show'' is the third studio album by Irish singer Niall Horan, released through Capitol Records on 9 June 2023. Musically, it draws from rock and synth pop genres. The album's lead single, "Heaven" was released on 17 February 2023, followed by "Meltdown" on 28 April 2023. The album topped the charts in eight countries. The deluxe version of the album, ''The Show: The Encore'', was released on 3 November 2023; the album was preceded by an alternate version of "You Could Start a Cult", featuring Lizzy McAlpine. Background and recording On 15 February 2023, Horan announced the album title and release date. Niall James Horan ( ; born 13 September 1993) is an Irish singer-songwriter. He rose to prominence as a member of the boy band One Direction, formed in 2010 on the singing competition ''The X Factor''. The group released five albums and went on to become one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. Following the band's hiatus in 2016, Horan signed a recording deal as a solo artist with Capitol Records and since has released two albums: '' Flicker'' (2017) and ''Heartbreak Weather'' (2020).
