The Revolt (terror Group)
The Revolt () is an Israeli Jewish far-right terror group responsible for the Duma arson attack. The group advocates for dismantling the State of Israel in order to establish a Halachic state, Kingdom of Israel that follows Jewish Law. The group's membership numbers in the range of 30-40 people. Between the founding of the ideological origin of the group in 2013, and the Duma arson attack, the group was responsible for 11 other arson attacks. Another significant arson attack perpetrated by the group targeted the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes in Tabgha, Northern District (Israel), Northern district. The arson left important material damages in the church. In December 2017, Eyal Reuveni was sentenced to 4 years in prison for the attack. The origin of the name comes from the manifesto of the group, which details their ideology for overthrowing the State. Duma Arson Attack
The Duma village arson attack refers to the firebombing of a Palestinian family home in late July 2015 in the village of Duma, which resulted in the death of three people; 18-month-old Ali Dawabsheh was burned alive in the fire, while both his parents died from their injuries within weeks. On 3 January 2016, 21 year old Israeli settler Amiram Ben-Uliel was indicted for the murder, along with an Israeli minor, for participation in planning the murder. In addition, along with two others, they were both charged with one count of membership in a terrorist organization. In 2020, Ben-Uliel was convicted of three counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder, three counts of arson and of conspiring to commit a racially motivated crime, as part of a "terrorist act". Hilltop Youth
Hilltop Youth ( he, נוער הגבעות, ''No'ar HaGva'ot'') are hardline, extremist religious-nationalist youth who establish outposts without an Israeli legal basis in the West Bank. The ideology of the Hilltop Youth, a derivation of Kahanism, includes the claim that the Palestinians are "raping the Holy Land", and must be expelled.
