The Replacement (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
"The Replacement" is episode three of season five of the television show ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer''. The episode aired on October 10, 2000 on The WB. A demon's wand "splits" Xander Harris, Xander into two Xanders, one of whom is confident, receives a promotion at work, and buys an apartment to share with Anya Jenkins, Anya, and the other of whom feels anxious, jealous, and like a loser. Plot The gang starts looking for an apartment for Xander Harris, Xander so he can move out of his parents' house, though he worries that he may not be able to afford it, upsetting Anya Jenkins, Anya. Rupert Giles, Giles receives a visit from a demon searching for the Slayer. He later identifies the demon as Toth, the only survivor of the Tothric Clan. The gang checks out the city dump in search of the demon and finds Spike (Buffyverse), Spike scavenging. The demon hits Xander with light from a rod and knocks him to the ground. Buffy The Vampire Slayer
''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'' is an American supernatural fiction, supernatural drama television series created by writer and director Joss Whedon. The concept is based on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer (film), 1992 film, also written by Whedon, although they are separate and unrelated productions. Whedon served as executive producer and showrunner of the series under his production tag Mutant Enemy Productions. It premiered on March 10, 1997, on The WB and concluded on May 20, 2003, on UPN. Riley Finn
Riley Finn is a fictional character created by Joss Whedon for the television series '' Buffy the Vampire Slayer''. Portrayed by Marc Blucas, Riley was introduced in the 1999 season 4 premiere episode, " The Freshman", and Blucas was part of the series credited cast for the second part of season 4 and the first part of season 5. Most notably, Riley is one of three long-term romantic interests for series' heroine Buffy Summers ( Sarah Michelle Gellar). Whedon intended Riley to be the antithesis of Buffy's boyfriend of the past three seasons, Angel (David Boreanaz), who now headed his own spin-off show. The Zeppo
"The Zeppo" is episode thirteen of season three of '' Buffy the Vampire Slayer''. It was written by Dan Vebber, directed by James Whitmore, Jr., and first broadcast on The WB on January 26, 1999. Feeling left out by the gang, Xander ends up accompanying a student named Jack O'Toole, who raises some friends from the dead and decides to blow up the high school. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang are trying to stop an apocalypse. Plot Xander helps out the gang with another demon vanquishing, but Buffy worries about his safety and asks him to stay "fray-adjacent," upsetting him.
