The Receiving End of Sirens (abbreviated TREOS) is an American rock band from Belchertown, Massachusetts, United States. Formed in 2003, the band broke up in 2008 then briefly reunited in 2010; a 2020 reunion tour was canceled. In December 2024, the band announced a reunion show in Boston for 2025. The band released a previously unavailable B-Side entitled "Weightless Underwater" on February 27, 2025. Overview The band played on the 2005 Warped Tour and toured with such acts as Gatsbys American Dream, A Wilhelm Scream, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Funeral for a Friend, Saves the Day, Senses Fail, Thrice, and New Found Glory. The band's first headlining tour, "The New Hope Tour," began on March31, 2006. The Masquerade (Atlanta)
The Masquerade is a mid-sized concert venue located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It is located in Kenny's Alley, the lowest level of Underground Atlanta. The venue first opened in 1989 at the historic DuPre Excelsior Mill, a century-old former manufacturing plant. It became known throughout its early history as one of the city's premier alternative music spaces, hosting styles ranging from punk rock to electronic music. Its three stages, named after the destinations of the afterlife—Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell—forge distinct musical identities. Gatsbys American Dream is an American indie rock band from Seattle, Washington. Since their founding in 2001, they have released four full-length albums and one EP. The band's self-titled fourth album, their second released with Fearless Records, peaked at number 22 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart and number 28 on the Top Independent Albums chart. The band drew their name from F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel ''The Great Gatsby.'' Origins and ''Why We Fight'' The prototypes for the songs on the band's first record, ''Why We Fight'', were (according to Bobby) written by his earlier band, One Point Two, on Together Records (Killed For Less Records) out of Richmond, Indiana. Envy on the Coast are a post-hardcore band from Long Island, New York. They released their second full length, ''Lowcountry'', in March 2010. History 2003–2005: Formation The members of Envy on the Coast began playing together in 2003, though not under that name. Initially, Ryan Hunter replaced Brian Byrne after Brian left New York to study at Berklee College of Music. I Am the Avalanche is an American punk rock band from Brooklyn, New York. The group's name comes from a lyric written by Vinnie Caruana for a song which was later discarded. The phrase also appears in the poem ''"Oh, Immobility, Death's Vast Associate"'' by Stephen Dobyns; however, Caruana maintains that this is a coincidence, and that he was not aware of the poem until after naming the band. Hit the Lights is an American pop punk band from Lima, Ohio. It is named in allusion to the '80s skateboarding film, '' Gleaming the Cube'', and has sold over 120,000 albums in North America. A Thorn for Every Heart (often abbreviated to ATFEH) is an American post-hardcore band from Chino Hills, California. History A Thorn for Every Heart was started in early 2003 by Joel Ryan Holt (guitar) and Aaron Peck (drums). The original lineup of Holt, Peck, Kelvin Cruz (lead vocals), Jeff Harber (guitar, keys, backing vocals), Justin Powell (bass), and Joy Welling (violin) independently released their debut EP, ''Silence Is Golden'', in late 2003. The EP gained them internet exposure and created an underground following, leading to talks of a record deal with Interscope. Due to musical differences, Holt (guitar/band co-founder) and ATFEH parted ways, and long-time friend Phil Nguyen joined the band in Holt's place. Thrice is an American rock band from Irvine, California, formed in 1998. The group was founded by guitarist/vocalist Dustin Kensrue and lead guitarist Teppei Teranishi while they were in high school.
