The Reason (Lemar Album)
''The Reason'' is the fourth studio album by English singer Lemar. It was released by Epic Records on 24 November 2008 in the United Kingdom. His debut with the label, the album saw Lemar working with a wider range of US songwriters and producers, including Claude Kelly, Jim Beanz, Jim Jonsin, and Salaam Remi. ''The Reason'' contains the singles, "If She Knew" and "Weight of the World (Lemar song), Weight of the World." Lemar
Lemar Obika (born 4 April 1978), known mononymously as Lemar, is an English singer, songwriter and record producer. Initially rising to fame after finishing third on the Fame Academy (series 1), first series of British talent show ''Fame Academy'', he was later signed to Sony BMG, where he has gone on to release five studio albums, three of which are certified platinum certification, platinum or double platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). Lemar's double-platinum debut album ''Dedicated (Lemar album), Dedicated'' was released in November 2003 and contained the successful singles "Dance (With U)", "50/50 & Lullaby, 50/50" and "Another Day (Lemar song), Another Day", all of which charted in the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart. The Newcastle City Hall (currently known as O2 City Hall Newcastle for sponsorship reasons) is a concert hall located in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It has hosted many popular music and classical artists throughout the years, as well as standup and comedy acts. The venue is operated by Academy Music Group, which is part owned by Live Nation, and named under a group sponsorship agreement with telecoms company O2. It is a Grade II listed building. History The building was designed by Nicholas & Dixon-Spain and opened in 1927 as a part of a development which also included the adjacent Newcastle City Baths. Nottingham Royal Concert Hall
Nottingham Royal Concert Hall is a concert hall in the English city of Nottingham. It is owned by Nottingham City Council and is part of a complex that also includes the city's Theatre Royal. The Royal Concert Hall's striking modern architecture has proved to be a city landmark at the heart of Nottingham City Centre, opposite the more recently built The Cornerhouse complex. The Corn Exchange is an events and concert venue located on Wheeler Street, Cambridge, Wheeler Street in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England. The structure, which was commissioned as a corn exchange, is a Grade II listed building. History The first corn exchange in Cambridge was built on St Andrew's Hill in 1842. By the late 1860s, it was considered too small, and civic officials decided to commission a larger building on a site once occupied by the Black Bear Inn. Plymouth Pavilions
Plymouth Pavilions is an entertainment and sports complex in Plymouth, Devon, England. The arena is used as an entertainment venue and also for corporate hire. The Pavilions is built on the site of the former Millbay railway station that is directly opposite the Duke of Cornwall Hotel. The granite pillars which can be seen outside the main entrance were once the gate posts to the station. Ice Rink and Pool Closure Plymouth Pavilions was one of the only indoor centres with an ice rink in Devon, but in 2022 due to the cost of living crisis, the company declared the Ice Rink would close for good. Plymouth Pavilions was also the home of a family fun indoor swimming pool - including an underwater-themed extension which closed in 2003; however on 18 March 2012, in response to the opening of the state-of-the-art Plymouth Life Centre, the swimming pool was shut down. New Theatre Oxford (formerly the Apollo Theatre Oxford and the Apollo, from 1977–2003) is the main commercial Theater (structure), theatre in Oxford, England. The Brighton Centre
Brighton Centre is a conference and exhibition centre located in Brighton, England. It is the largest of its kind in southern England, and is regularly used for conferences of the UK political parties and other bodies of national importance. The venue has the capacity to accommodate up to 5,000 delegates, although rooms in the building can be used for weddings and banquets. O2 Academy Birmingham is a music venue located in Birmingham, West Midlands, England. Venue The original O Academy Birmingham was located at Dale End (the venue is now known as Forum Birmingham).
