''The Quiet Times of a Rock and Roll Farm Boy'' is the second solo studio album by American country music artist Big Kenny, one-half of the duo Big & Rich. It was released on November 10, 2009, via Big Kenny's own Love Everybody label. The lead-off single, "Long After I'm Gone," has entered the Hot Country Songs chart and has become his first solo Top 40 on that chart. It was followed in 2010 by ''Big Kenny's Love Everybody Traveling Musical Medicine Show Mix Tape, Vol. 1'', which was released exclusively through BigKenny.TV and BigSouthMusic.com. In 2011, a deluxe edition of ''Quiet Times'' was released on iTunes, featuring remixes, alternate versions, new transitions between tracks and a digital booklet. William Kenneth Alphin (born November 1, 1963), best known by his stage name Big Kenny, is an American country music singer. He and John Rich (musician), John Rich comprise the duo Big & Rich, who recorded four studio albums and charted fifteen singles on the ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' Hot Country Songs chart. Before Big & Rich, Big Kenny recorded a solo album ''Live a Little (Big Kenny album), Live a Little'' for Hollywood Records in 1999 (although it was not released until 2005) and fronted a band called luvjOi. He is known as co-founder of rock band Evanescence, which he departed in 2003 after the release of their debut album '' Fallen'' (2003). Judson Spence (born 29 April 1965, Pascagoula, Mississippi) is an American pop music singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville, Tennessee. He originally gained fame when he released his eponymously titled debut solo effort on Atlantic Records in 1988. Richard "Richie" Supa (born Richard Goodman) is an American songwriter and guitarist best known for his work with Aerosmith, The Rascals and Richie Sambora. Supa released several albums under his own name, including ''Supa's Jamboree'' (1971, Paramount 6009), ''Homespun'' (1972, Paramount PAS 6027), ''Lifelines'' (1976, Epic PE34277) and ''Tall Tales'' (1978, Polydor PD-1-6155). Marc Beeson (born December 20, 1954) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Beeson has co-written several singles which have reached the Hot Country Songs charts. Life and career Beeson moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1990. One of his first co-writes was " Even Now", a top 20 hit for Exile.
