''The Prodigal'' is a 1955 Eastmancolor biblical epic CinemaScope film made by MGM starring Lana Turner and Edmund Purdom. It was based on the New Testament parable about a selfish son who leaves his family to pursue a life of pleasure. PRODIGAL (proactive discovery of insider threats using graph analysis and learning) is a computer system for predicting anomalous behavior among humans, by data mining network traffic such as emails, text messages and server log entries. It is part of DARPA's Anomaly Detection at Multiple Scales (ADAMS) project. The initial schedule is for two years and the budget $9 million. It uses graph theory, machine learning, statistical anomaly detection, and high-performance computing to scan larger sets of data more quickly than in past systems. The amount of data analyzed is in the range of terabytes per day. ''Prodigals'' is a 2011 play written by Sean Minogue about a group of twenty-somethings in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, who spend their days drinking in a bar while awaiting the results of a friend's murder trial. Release The play premiered in May 2011 in Vancouver, British Columbia as the first original production of the Twenty-Something Theatre company. The premiere was directed by Peter Boychuk, produced by Sabrina Evertt, stage manager Aliya Rozenberg and featured Tara Pratt as Jen, Timothy Johnston as Wesley, Jameson Parker as Greg, Brandyn Eddy as Nips, Aslam Husain as Eliot, and Kirsten Kilburn as Nina. Jack Carter Richardson (February 18, 1934 – July 1, 2012) was an American writer born in Manhattan, and his birthplace erroneously has been reported as Bristol, Virginia. He was known for his existentialist dramas of the early 1960s. Biography Raised in the Jackson Heights section of Queens, New York City, the son of Arthur Richardson, a piano player during Prohibition who co-wrote " Too Fat Polka (She's Too Fat for Me)". After his mother died and his father remarried, he was raised by his grandmother. He graduated from Collegiate High School in Manhattan. Richardson later served in the Counter Intelligence Corps (CIC) in the United States Army during the Korean War. The Prodigals
The Prodigals is an American Irish punk band that started in 1997. Calling their genre of music " jig punk", the Prodigals fall within a tradition epitomized by the Pogues and Black 47, merging traditional Celtic melodic roots with rock rhythms. As of 2017, the band's lineup features the three original members: Gregory Grene (button accordion and lead vocals), Andrew Harkin (bass), Brian Tracey (drums), plus Galway's Dave Fahy (guitar and lead vocals) who has been a member since 2009.
