The Princess And The Warrior
''The Princess and the Warrior'' () is a 2000 German romantic drama film written and directed by Tom Tykwer. It follows the life of Sissi ( Franka Potente), a psychiatric hospital nurse who, after a near-death experience, enters into a relationship with Bodo ( Benno Fürmann), an anguished former soldier who lapses into criminality. Plot Sissi, a nurse in a psychiatric hospital, receives a letter from her old friend Meike, asking for her help in retrieving a bequest from Meike's recently deceased mother. Sissi cares for her patients to the extent that they appear to be her extended family (in fact, she states that her own father is a patient in the hospital). As such, she has little experience of life outside the hospital. Meanwhile, Bodo, living with his brother, applies for a funerary job but is quickly dismissed because of his inability to control his emotions. Tom Tykwer
Tom Tykwer (; born 23 May 1965) is a German film director, producer, screenwriter, and composer. He is best known internationally for directing the thriller films ''Run Lola Run'' (1998), ''Heaven (2002 film), Heaven'' (2002), ''Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (film), Perfume: The Story of a Murderer'' (2006), and ''The International (2009 film), The International'' (2009). Natja Brunckhorst (born 26 September 1966) is a German actress, screenwriter, and director. Brunckhorst was 13 years old when she was selected by director Uli Edel for the leading role as Christiane F. in the critically acclaimed 1981 dramatisation of the biographical work '' Christiane F. - Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo'' by Christiane Vera Felscherinow, written following the tape recordings of the experiences of teenage girl Christiane F. Brief psychotic disorder—according to the classifications of mental disorders DSM-IV-TR and DSM-5—is a psychotic condition involving the sudden onset of at least one psychotic symptom (such as disorganized thought/speech, delusions, hallucinations, or grossly disorganized or catatonic behavior) lasting 1 day to 1 month, often accompanied by emotional turmoil.
