The Precursors (video Game)
''The Precursors'' is a 2009 First-person shooter, first-person shooter game developed by Ukrainian game studio Deep Shadows. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, Windows in Russia on 4 December 2009. It was then released worldwide through GamersGate on 21 December 2010 and through Steam (service), Steam on 4 February 2017. It is set in a futuristic sci-fi environment where many political factions are engaged in an intergalactic war. The player is able to explore a multitude of planets, travel through outer space to complete missions, obtain information, and buy weapons and supplies in an open world free-roaming environment. It received mixed reviews from critics. Gameplay The game features a free-roaming world, with vast open areas, diverse weapons and a multitude of land, air and space vehicles. Russobit-M
Russobit-M was a distributor of PC games in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, CIS. It was crucial in PC game distribution in the Post-Soviet states. In 2003, it partnered with GFI Russia, GFI to release game software and DVDs throughout Russia. Russobit-M was established in 1997 and soon became the major publisher and distributor in the Russian and CIS game markets. The company employed more than two hundred gaming specialists and more than a hundred international partners at its peak. By the time the company stopped operating, it had sold one million CD/DVDs on the local market. In 2003, the company combined efforts with GFI.
