''The Package'' is a 1989 American political action thriller film directed by Andrew Davis and written by John Bishop. It stars Gene Hackman, Joanna Cassidy, Tommy Lee Jones, with John Heard, Dennis Franz, and Reni Santoni in supporting roles. Set during the Cold War, the film depicts the U.S. and Soviet governments as they are about to sign a disarmament treaty, to completely eliminate nuclear weapons. However, elements within each country's military are vehemently opposed to such a plan and determined to stop it at all costs. ''The Package'' is a 2012 American action film directed by Jesse V. Johnson and starring Steve Austin and Dolph Lundgren. The film was shot in Abbotsford, Langley, and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in twenty days from February 14 to March 5, 2012. Plot The film starts with Tommy Wicker (Steve Austin), arriving at a bowling alley and beating up a rival for not paying back Big Doug. Afterwards he visits Big Doug who tells him he wants a package delivered to "The German" (Dolph Lundgren), a dangerous crime lord. En route he is pursued by a rival gang who kills his partner and wants what he is carrying, forcing him to fight them off and run. The Package Tour was a co-headlining tour featuring American bands New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men. Beginning May 2013, the groups performed nearly fifty shows in North America. Background The tour was officially announced during a surprise appearance on ''The View''. Boyz II Men and 98 Degrees performed a cappella versions of their classics. The double entendre name was created by Joey McIntyre. The trek is described as nostalgia trip for the fans. All three bands have expressed giving their loyal fans a show they've been waiting for. Jake Stringer (born 25 April 1994) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Western Bulldogs from 2013 to 2017 and for the Essendon Football Club from 2018 to 2024. Stringer was selected in the All-Australian team in 2015 and won an AFL premiership with the Bulldogs in 2016, the club's first in 62 years.
