The Masked Singer (British Series 1)
The first series of the British version of ''The Masked Singer'' premiered on ITV on 4 January 2020, and concluded on 15 February 2020. The series was won by singer Nicola Roberts as "Queen Bee", with comedian Jason Manford finishing second as "Hedgehog", and singer Katherine Jenkins placing third as "Octopus". Production On 31 May 2019, it was announced that ITV was producing a local version of the South Korean television singing competition ''King of Mask Singer'', originally broadcast by the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation, for the British television market. Joel Patrick Dommett (born 8 June 1985) is an English actor, author, comedian, and television presenter. Donald Clark "Donny" Osmond (born December 9, 1957) is an American singer, dancer, actor, television host, and former teen idol. He first gained fame performing with four of his elder brothers as the Osmonds, earning several top ten hits and gold albums. Edward Paul "Teddy" Sheringham, MBE (born 2 April 1966) is an English football manager and former player. He played as a forward, mostly as a second striker, in a 24-year professional career. Kelis Rogers-Mora (; born August 21, 1979), known mononymously as Kelis, is an American singer, songwriter and a professionally trained chef. At age 14, she was admitted to New York's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where she learned to play the saxophone and won a spot in the Girls Choir of Harlem. Deborah Anne Dyer (born 3 August 1967), known mononymously by the stage name Skin, is a British singer, songwriter and electronic music DJ. She is the lead vocalist of British rock band Skunk Anansie, a band often grouped as part of the Britrock movement in the UK and gained attention for her powerful, wide-ranging soprano voice and striking look. Jake Shears (born October 3, 1978) is an American singer and songwriter. He is best known as the male lead singer of pop-rock band Scissor Sisters. Early life Shears was born in Mesa, Arizona, the son of an entrepreneur father and a Baptist mother (Freida Sellards). The second season of the American television series ''The Masked Singer'' premiered on Fox on September 25, 2019, following a "special sneak peek" aired on September 15, and concluded on December 18, 2019.
