Overview In this episode Jeannie once again falls for the deception of another man, this time pretending to be Marty. Although she is extremely impressed with his knowledge that Marty once had as they visit Woburn Abbey, it is far more likely she is attracted to the man himself rather than truly believing he is Marty in spirit. ''Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)'' is a British private detective television series, starring Mike Pratt (actor), Mike Pratt and Kenneth Cope respectively as the private detectives Jeff Randall and Marty Hopkirk. The series was created by Dennis Spooner and produced by Monty Berman, and was first broadcast in 1969 and 1970. In the United States, it was given the title ''My Partner the Ghost''. Annette Andre (born 24 June 1939) is an Australian actress best known for her work on British television throughout the 1960s and 1970s. Early life and early career The daughter of an upholsterer, Annette Andre was born in Drummoyne, Australia, as Annette Christine Andreallo. She was raised in Sydney and educated at Brigidine College, Sydney. She began work as a ballet dancer at the age of 4 at an academy linked to the Australian Ballet. Kenneth Charles Cope (14 April 1931 – 11 September 2024) was an English actor and scriptwriter. He was best known for his roles as Marty Hopkirk in '' Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)'', Jed Stone in ''Coronation Street,'' Ray Hilton in '' Brookside'', Sid in '' The Damned'' and as a minor member of the ''Carry On'' team. Early life Kenneth Cope was born on 14 April 1931 in Wavertree, Liverpool (at the time in Lancashire, now in Merseyside), England. Career After training to be an actor at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Cope began playing character roles in films from the mid-1950s, and between 1961 and 1966 gained attention for his regular role in ''Coronation Street'' as the shady Jed Stone, a part he returned to in 2008. Michael John Pratt (7 June 1931 – 10 July 1976) was an English actor, musician, songwriter and screenwriter. He was known for his work on British television in the 1960s and 1970s, which included co-starring as Randall in '' Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)''.
