JoAnne Dorothy Good (born 15 January 1955) is a British radio presenter, television presenter, broadcast journalist and actress. Career Actress As an actress, she is best known for her role as Carole Sands in the ITV soap ''Crossroads'' from 1981 to 1984. She played a schoolgirl in the 1978 cult British horror film '' Killer's Moon'', and filmed an interview for the 2008 DVD release. She also appeared in the all-star black comedy film ''Eat the Rich'' in 1987 and in the ''Only Fools and Horses'' episode "Go West Young Man" in 1981. She provided the voices of Lillie Lightship, Sally Seaplane and Pearl in ''Tugs'', a show created by Robert D. Cardona, David Mitton and the original model makers of ''Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends''. On stage she has played the title role in ''Educating Rita'', co-starring with Norman Bowler, and for several years in the 1990s worked as part of Derek Nimmo's touring company, performing all over the world. Lewisham
Lewisham ( ) is an area of southeast London, England, south of Charing Cross. It is the principal area of the London Borough of Lewisham, and was within the Historic counties of England, historic county of Kent until 1889. It is identified in the London Plan as one of 35 major centres in Greater London, with a large shopping centre and street market. Lewisham had a population of 60,573 in 2011. History The earliest written reference to Lewisham – – is from a charter from 862 which established the boundaries with neighbouring Bromley. The Bill
''The Bill'' is a British police procedural television series, broadcast on ITV (TV network), ITV from 16 October 1984 until 31 August 2010. The programme originated from a one-off drama, "Woodentop (The Bill), Woodentop" (part of the ''Storyboard'' series), broadcast on 16 August 1983. ITV were so impressed with the drama that a full series was commissioned. The title originates from "Old Bill", a List of police-related slang terms, slang term for the police and show creator Geoff McQueen's original title for the series. ''The Bill'' focuses on the lives and work of one shift of police officers of all ranks, and the storylines deal with situations faced by uniformed officers working on the beat, as well as Covert operation#Plainclothes law enforcement, plainclothes detectives. ''Potter'' is a British sitcom written by Roy Clarke. Running for three series, it originally starred Arthur Lowe as Redvers Potter, a busybody former sweet manufacturer ("Pottermints - the hotter mints") with time on his hands following retirement. Set in Surrey, the series followed Potter in his various attempts to keep himself occupied by interfering in other people's business. Julian Peter McDonald Clary (born 25 May 1959) is an English actor, comedian, novelist and presenter. He began appearing on television in the mid-1980s. George Webley (29 May 1957 – 7 May 2011), better known by the stage name Big George, was a British musician, composer, bandleader and broadcaster who has been described as one of Britain's most successful theme music writers. ''The Alan Titchmarsh Show'' is a British daytime chat show presented by Alan Titchmarsh. It was first broadcast on ITV on 3 September 2007 until 14 November 2014 and aired on weekday afternoons. Alexander Norman Charles Lester (born 11 May 1956) is a British broadcaster. He presented the weekday overnight/early-morning programme on BBC Radio 2 from 1992 until 2014.
