Alfio Giuffrida, also known as Alfio Giuffrida AG Sinnwerke (born 28 January 1953 in Zafferana Etnea) is a contemporary Italian sculptor, installation artist, set designer and painter. Works In 1975 he returned to non-figurative representation and participated in the X Rome Quadriennale. Between 1977 and 1985 he worked as a freelance painter and set designer in Rome. He moved to Cologne in 1986. From 1990 to 2004 he worked in his studio in Bonn. 2003 saw the founding of the fictitious factory A.G. Sinnwerke®. The first products to appear under the A.G. Sinnwerke label were the ''CDs'', ''CD-Sets'', and ''Selbstbau-Sets''. More concentrated object cycles followed: ''CD-Roms'', ''Samples'', ''Ovali'', ''Kugeln'', ''Irrigatoren'', ''Mona Lisa'', and ''Sample-Sets'', all offered in blister packs. Giuffrida Répaci (born March 19, 1964, in Turin, Italy) is an Italian journalist, director of the magazine La Lettre b. Education and career Giuffrida Répaci completed a degree in Law in 1990 at the University of Genoa. He also studied at the City of London Polytechnic and the King's College London. Répaci started his career as journalist in 1982, as speaker at the radio station ''Radio Riviera Tre''. In 1989 he moved to ''Radio One'' and became a reporter for the News Agency ''Hi News''. In 1994 Giuffrida Répaci moved to Brussels to become correspondent of the Agency ''L'Altra News''. In 2003 Répaci founded the News Agency DSPRESS and became editor in chief of the magazine ''L'Incontro"''. In 2010 he was named as director for the news magazine La Lettre b. Giuseppe De Felice Giuffrida (11 April 1859 in Catania – 19 July 1920 in Aci Castello) was an Italian socialist politician and journalist from Sicily. He is considered to be one of the founders of the ''Fasci Siciliani'' (Sicilian Leagues) a popular movement of democratic and socialist inspiration. As the first socialist mayor of Catania in Sicily, from 1902 until 1914, he became the protagonist of a kind of municipal socialism. Odette Giuffrida (; born 12 October 1994) is an Italian judoka. She won the gold medal in the women's 52kg event at the 2024 World Judo Championships held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She competed at the 2023 World Judo Championships, where she placed third in the women's 52 kg. Career She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, in the women's 52 kg event, in which she won the silver medal. Giuffrida recompeted again at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan, in the women's 52 kg event, where she won the bronze medal against Réka Pupp of Hungary.
