The Joining (The Batman Character)
The following is a list of characters that have appeared in the television series '' The Batman'', which ran from September 11, 2004, to March 22, 2008, as well as the show's tie-in comic called ''The Batman Strikes!''. The animation style bears a strong resemblance to that of '' Jackie Chan Adventures'', since Jeff Matsuda was the chief character designer for both shows. Many of the supervillains who appear in the series, like the Joker, Penguin and Riddler, are very different from their comic counterparts, and notable foes of Batman such as Two-Face, Scarecrow, Ra's al Ghul, and Mad Hatter are absent from the series altogether, though Scarecrow had early concept art made for him before he was barred from appearing, and Two-Face was planned to make an appearance in the tie-in comic, before it was ultimately canceled by issue #50 in October 2008. The Joining (The Batman Episode)
The following is an episode list for the Kids' WB and Cartoon Network animated television series '' The Batman'', starring the titular character. The series premiered on September 11, 2004, and ended on March 8, 2008, with a total of 65 episodes being produced and aired over the series' three-and-a-half-year run; each season comprised 13 episodes. All five seasons are available on DVD. A direct-to-DVD film titled ''The Batman vs. Dracula'', based on the series, was released in on October 18, 2005, and made its television debut on Cartoon Network's Toonami block on October 22, 2005. There is also a spin-off comic book series, ''The Batman Strikes!'', published by DC Comics which is set in the same continuity and style of ''The Batman''. This page is a list of the episodes of ''The Outer Limits'', a 1995 science fiction/dark fantasy television series. The series was broadcast on Showtime from 1995 to 2000, and on the Sci Fi Channel in its final year (2001–2002). Background Showtime's head of programming, Jeffrey Offsay, said the show "found a home at Showtime because MGM, which produced the original series, supplies feature films to both Showtime and The Movie Channel. At the time we were making our deal to get into business with them, they were restarting their TV operation as well. They had the idea of wanting to make ''The Outer Limits'' and they thought it was the kind of thing that would work very well for us". Executive producer Pen Densham noted how anthologies can be "risky". He explained that "every week no stories are the same, no actors are the same, we don't have an easy path of an ongoing character, we have to make sure the stories are so strong, and not resort to remaking original ''Outer Limit ...
