Georg Jacoby (23 July 1882 – 21 February 1964) was a German film director and screenwriter. , bfi.org.uk; accessed 11 December 2016. Biography Jacoby was born in Mainz, Germany, the son of Wilhelm Jacoby (1855–1925), a German comedic playwright, who concentrated largely on creating farces, such as ''The Duchess of Athens'' (1883) and ''Pension Schöller (play), Pension Schöller'' (1890), which he co-authored with Carl Laufs. Georg adapted ''Pension Schöller'' into film versions on no fewer than three occasions. Eugen Burg
Eugen Burg (6 January 1871 – 17 April 1944) was a German actor. His daughter was Hansi Burg. Burg was a close friend of the actor Hans Albers. Burg was born Eugen Hirschburg into a Jewish family, but later converted to Protestantism. He was banished from the film industry when the Nazi Party came to power in Germany. He later died in Theresienstadt concentration camp. Jack Trevor
Anthony Cedric Sebastian Steane (14 December 1893 – 19 December 1976), known by the stage name Jack Trevor, was a British film actor of the silent and early sound era. Based in Weimar (and later Nazi) Germany, he acted in 67 films between 1922 and 1943. He was later convicted of collaboration for appearing in multiple propaganda films of the Nazi regime, but his sentence was overturned on the basis that he had worked under duress. Early life and military service Trevor was born Anthony Cedric Sebastian Steane in London in 1893, to upper-class parents. Paul Otto Schlesinger (8 February 1878 – 25 or 30 November 1943) was a German film actor and director. Born in Berlin, he began a qualification as a retail merchant and made his actor's debut at the age of 17. Otto worked at Theaters in Halle, Wiesbaden and Hanover before he returned to Berlin about 1906. He first appeared in the silent film ''Ringkampf Konkurrenz'' in 1910 and in ''Arsène Lupin contra Sherlock Holmes'' (1910-11, five episode film serial) next to Viggo Larsen. In 1912 Otto directed his first own film ''Selbstgerichtet''. In the beginning of the 1930s he also appeared in successful Sound movies like '' Der Hauptmann von Köpenick''. Hermann Warm was a German art director for films. Born in 1889 (died 1976) in Berlin, Germany, Warm was an important figure in the expressionist movement of the 1920s. Warm entered the German film industry in 1912 after working on-stage for a while. As well as doing set work on films such as ''The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari'' and Fritz Lang's ''Destiny'', Warm also worked with Danish film director Carl Theodor Dreyer on films including '' The Passion of Joan of Arc'' and ''Vampyr''.
