''The Golden Voice'' is a 2006 American short drama film written, produced, and directed by Gregory Cahill. It stars Sophea Pel as Ros Serey Sothear. Plot ''The Golden Voice'' is about famous Cambodian rock singer, Ros Serey Sothear, and her struggle for survival. She learns that her voice is her only chance to overcome the communist Pol Pot. Gregory Cahill
Gregory Cahill (born January 21, 1982) is an American director, producer, and screenwriter known for ''The Golden Voice (2006 film), The Golden Voice'' and ''Two Shadows''. He is also the production coordinator for ''The Talk (TV series), The Talk'' and assistant directed ''Hell and Back (film), Hell and Back''. He won the Audience Award at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival for his film ''Two Shadows'' and is currently working on his upcoming film ''Metalheads''. Cahill has his own production company, Rising Falcon Cinema, as well. Early life Cahill grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts. The Woods Hole Film Festival was founded in 1991 by Judith Laster and Kate Davis. Overview Since its foundation, the festival has grown from a one-day invitational event to an eight-day event with films submitted from around the world. Beverly Hills Film Festival
The Beverly Hills Film Festival (BHFF) is a film festival in the United States founded in 2001 by independent filmmaker Nino Simone. The festival is an international competition dedicated to "showcasing the art and talent of emerging filmmakers and screenplay writers from around the world". The festival lasts five days and is reportedly attended by more than 20,000 people a year. Venues include the AMPAS, Writers Guild, Chinese Theater and The Clarity Theatre. CamboFest is an international film festival in Cambodia started in 2007 by Camerado. It is Cambodia's first internationally recognized film festival, and one of the first regular international movie events in Cambodia since the Khmer Rouge era.
