The Forge Of War
''The Forge of War'' is a supplement to the 3.5 edition of the '' Dungeons & Dragons'' role-playing game. Contents ''The Forge of War'' is an accessory for the Eberron setting that explores the history of the Last War. New character options allow players to explore battlefield backgrounds, the magic of war, battle scars, and the benefits of working as a team. Campaign seeds help the Dungeon Master introduce the themes and events of the Last War in a current-day campaign or send characters back to their wartime days through flashbacks or actual time travel. A comprehensive overview of the Last War provides details on the events, armies, battlefields, and themes of Eberron's greatest clash of nations. A role-playing game (sometimes spelled roleplaying game, RPG) is a game in which players assume the roles of player character, characters in a fictional Setting (narrative), setting. Players take responsibility for acting out these roles within a narrative, either through literal acting or through a process of structured decision-making regarding character development. Actions taken within many games succeed or fail according to a formal role-playing game system, system of rules and guidelines. There are several forms of role-playing games. Martina Pilcerova (born 14 March 1973), known professionally as Martina, is a Slovak fantasy artist and author. Life and activities Martina Pilcerova was born on 14 March 1973 in Lučenec, Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia). She studied English and German at the Pedagogical University of Nitra in 1992–93 and studied animation and scriptwriting at the Film University in Bratislava, Slovakia, from 1996 to 1998. Three years later, she earned her MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts, Bratislava. While attending school Martina published short stories in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Fred William Hooper (October 6, 1897 – August 4, 2000) was an American Thoroughbred racehorse owner and breeder. He was a member of The Jockey Club, an honorary director of the Breeders' Cup, and one of the founders of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association and one of its first presidents. Early years Born in Cleveland, Georgia, Hooper quit school in the eighth grade and worked as a schoolteacher, a carpenter, a riveter, a prizefighter and a potato farmer. He would make his fortune in the heavy construction business. He bought near Montgomery, Alabama and started breeding champion Hereford cattle and eventually horses.
