The Fall Of Ideals
''The Fall of Ideals'' is the third studio album by the American heavy metal band All That Remains, released on July 11, 2006. Three music videos were created for the songs "This Calling", "Not Alone" and "The Air That I Breathe". It is the only All That Remains release with drummer Shannon Lucas and the band's first album to feature bassist Jeanne Sagan. Musically, the album features a more melodic metalcore sound the band would be known for. Considered a landmark in the metalcore genre, the album has been said to have "set the template" for future metalcore bands that would follow. Adam Dutkiewicz
Adam Jonathan Dutkiewicz (born April 4, 1977) is an American musician and record producer. He is the lead guitarist of the metalcore bands Killswitch Engage, Aftershock (band), Aftershock and Times of Grace (band), Times of Grace, as well as the guitarist and co-lead vocalist for the melodic death metal supergroup Serpentine Dominion. He has also produced and engineered albums for several other metal bands. Biography Dutkiewicz, of Polish, Austrian, Scottish, and English descent, was born and raised in Westhampton, Massachusetts. He attended Hampshire Regional High School. Dutkiewicz also later attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, studying Record producer, production, audio engineering, and bass guitar. All That Remains is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1998. They have released ten studio albums, a All That Remains: Live, live CD and DVD, and have sold over a million records worldwide. The group currently consists of vocalist Philip Labonte, rhythm guitarist Mike Martin, lead guitarist Jason Richardson (musician), Jason Richardson, bassist Matt Deis and drummer Anthony Barone, with Labonte being the last remaining original member. Melodic metalcore is a fusion genre, incorporating elements of melodic death metal and metalcore; it has a heavy emphasis on melodic instrumentation, distorted guitar tones, palm mute, palm muting, double bass drumming, blast beats, metalcore-stylized Breakdown (music), breakdowns, and vocals that range from aggressive screaming (music), screaming and death growls to clean singing. ''Saw III'' is a 2006 horror film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman from a screenplay by Leigh Whannell and a story by Whannell and James Wan. Soilwork is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Helsingborg. They have released twelve studio albums. Formed in late 1995 by Björn Strid and Peter Wichers, the band was originally known as ''Inferior Breed''. In late 1996, they changed their name to Soilwork, which means "working from the ground up". Killswitch Engage is an American metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1999. Harmonization
In music, harmonization is the chordal accompaniment to a line or melody: "Using chords and melodies together, making harmony by stacking scale tones as triads". A harmonized scale can be created by using each note of a musical scale as a root note for a chord and then by taking other tones within the scale building the rest of a chord.
