''The Complete U2'' is a digital box set by Irish rock music, rock band U2. It was released on 23 November 2004 by Apple Inc. on the iTunes Store. It is the first major release of a purely digital online box set by any recording artist. It contained the complete set of U2 albums, singles, live, rare and previously unreleased material from 1978 to 2004, with a total of 446 songs. This was accompanied by a PDF containing album art, track listings, and band commentary. In the US it originally retailed for $149.99, but a $50 coupon was included with the iPod U2 Special Edition, U2 Special Edition iPods from the fourth-generation iPod. The video-capable U2 iPods included a code for a 33-minute video of live band performances and interviews. As of 20 December 2007, the set was no longer available for sale. The iPod is a series of portable media players and multi-purpose mobile devices that were designed and marketed by Apple Inc. from 2001 to 2022. "Two Hearts Beat as One" is a song by Irish rock band U2. It is the seventh track on their 1983 album, '' War'', and was released as its second single in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia on 21 March 1983. History The music video was directed by Meiert Avis and was filmed outside the Basilica of Sacré Coeur de Montmartre in Paris in March 1983. It portrays the band performing the song, intercut with scenes of an acrobat and other scenes featuring Peter Rowen (the boy who appears on the album cover). The Parisian church is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Unlike the other videos from the album, it has never been included on any of the band's video compilations. ''War'' is the third studio album by Irish Rock music, rock band U2. It was produced by Steve Lillywhite, and was released on 28 February 1983 on Island Records. The album is regarded as U2's first overtly political album, in part because of songs like "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "New Year's Day (U2 song), New Year's Day", as well as the title, which stems from the band's perception of the world at the time; lead vocalist Bono stated that "war seemed to be the motif for 1982." "A Celebration" is a song by Irish rock band U2. It was released as a non-album single in March 1982, between the records ''October'' (1981) and ''War'' (1983). The song's music video was filmed at the Kilmainham Gaol former prison in Dublin. The single reached number 47 on the UK Singles Chart and number 15 on the Irish Singles Chart. The album was lyrically inspired by the memberships of Bono, the Edge, and Larry Mullen Jr. in a Christian group called the Shalom Fellowship, and consequently it contains spiritual and religious themes.
