Plot The villagers of Wanling, Hunan must perform an exorcism every 50 years to prevent preserved corpses from becoming jiangshi. One year the ritual is botched, causing one adult jiangshi and one child jiangshi to rise from the grave. A traveling Taoist named Ku-Su warns the villagers and even attempts to fight the child jiangshi, but local orphans from Yuen Cheung-Yan's Peking Opera see this and take the child jiangshi into their protection, mistaking Ku-Su for a villain. Yuen Woo-ping
Yuen Woo-ping (; alias: Yuen Wo-ping; born 1945) is a Hong Kong people, Hong Kong Stage combat, martial arts choreographer and film director who worked in Hong Kong action cinema and later Hollywood films. Lau Kar-leung (; born 28 July 1934 – 25 June 2013) was a Hongkongers, Hong Kong Martial art, martial artist, filmmaker, Stage combat, fight choreographer and actor. Chris Yen Tze-ching (born August 4, 1974) is a Hong Kong martial artist and actress. She is the younger sister of the actor Donnie Yen. The Hui people are an East Asian ethnoreligious group predominantly composed of Chinese-speaking adherents of Islam. They are distributed throughout China, mainly in the northwestern provinces and in the Zhongyuan region. According to the 2010 census, China is home to approximately 10.5 million Hui people. Outside China, the 170,000 Dungan people of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, the Panthays in Myanmar, and many of the Chin Haws in Thailand are also considered part of the Hui ethnicity.
