The Church on the Way (The First Foursquare Church of Van Nuys) is a Pentecostal church in Van Nuys, California, led by Senior Pastor, Tim Clark. It is affiliated with the Foursquare Church. The church was formerly pastored by Jack Hayford and was widely influential in the Charismatic Movement in the 1970s through the 1990s, with services regularly televised on the Trinity Broadcasting Network and aired on its own local radio station. Jim Tolle is an American Pastor, small college president, and radio host based in Los Angeles. After graduating with a degree in theology, he began as an apprentice minister with the well-known pastor, Dr. Jack W. Hayford and eventually served as Senior Pastor at The Church On The Way, a very well known congregation in the city, which became one of the largest multicultural churches in the United States. Scott Bauer
Scott George Bauer (January 11, 1954 – October 24, 2003) was the senior pastor of The Church on the Way from late 1999 until his sudden death in 2003. He also served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King's College and Seminary and as the supervisor the Los Angeles North Valley District of Foursquare Churches. On weekdays, he was known for his messages that aired on the KTLW radio program titled ''Life on the Way''. Before his death, Scott Bauer had finished writing his first book, ''The New Church On The Way''.
