''The Bridge and the Abyss'' is the ninth studio album by underground American hip hop duo Jedi Mind Tricks. The album contains a feature from Sean Price on the track "Legacy of the Prophet", who died in 2015. Production The album reunites Philadelphia rapper Vinnie Paz with producer Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind after Stoupe's departure and eventual reunion from their last album ''The Thief and the Fallen''. Producer C-Lance is credited as co-producer on many on the songs. Jedi Mind Tricks
Jedi Mind Tricks (JMT) are an American underground hip hop group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded in 1996 by two high school friends, rapper Vinnie Paz (Vincenzo Luvineri) and producer Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind (Kevin Baldwin). In 1999, rapper Jus Allah joined the group to record their second studio album, ''Violent by Design''. Jus left the group shortly after, but returned in late 2006 and began working on the sixth studio album, ''A History of Violence (album), A History of Violence''. In 2011 Stoupe left the group because "his heart wasn't in making JMT records anymore". In 2013, Jus split from the group indefinitely, and Stoupe returned in 2015. Vincenzo Luvineri (born October 5, 1977), better known as Vinnie Paz (formerly known as Ikon the Verbal Hologram), is a Sicilian American rapper and producer behind the Philadelphia underground hip hop group Jedi Mind Tricks. He is also the frontman of the hip hop collective Army of the Pharaohs. He released his first solo album, '' Season of the Assassin'', in 2010. This was 18 years after Paz had originally started rapping. He released his second album ''God of the Serengeti'' in October 2012. The song was included on the band's 1968 debut studio album '' End of the World'', and was released as a single in July 1968 on Mercury. Eamon Doyle (born September 19, 1983), better known by his mononym Eamon, is an American singer and songwriter. He is mainly known for his 2003 hit single " Fuck It (I Don't Want You Back)".
