It is located at John Lewis Plaza in Freedom Park (Atlanta), Freedom Park in Atlanta, Georgia at the intersection of Ponce de Leon Avenue with Freedom Parkway in the Poncey-Highland neighborhood. ''The Bridge'' (Serbo-Croatian: ''Most'', Serbian Cyrillic: ''Мост'') is a 1969 Yugoslav partisan film directed by Hajrudin Krvavac. It stars Velimir 'Bata' Živojinović, Slobodan Perović, Boris Dvornik and Igor Galo. Similarly to Walter Defends Sarajevo, this film was also popular in the People's Republic of China. Plot In 1944, Standartenführer Hoffmann is assigned as extra security for a vital bridge near the Yugoslav border with Greece as German forces are pulling out of the latter country. He wants to take a proactive approach towards Yugoslav Partisan threats but Oberst von Felsen, whom Hoffman is reinforcing, disagrees. Meanwhile, the Partisans want to destroy the bridge to prevent German troops from entering and foiling a planned operation with 5,000 men. ''The Bridge'' is a 2006 documentary film by Eric Steel spanning one year of filming at the Golden Gate Bridge which crosses the Golden Gate entrance to San Francisco Bay, connecting the city of San Francisco, California to the Marin Headlands of Marin County, in 2004. The film shows a number of suicides, and features interviews with family and friends of some of the identified people who had thrown themselves from the bridge that year and one person who had jumped previously and survived. The film was inspired by a 2003 article titled "Jumpers", written by Tad Friend for ''The New Yorker'' magazine. The film crew shot almost 10,000 hours of footage, recording 23 of the known 24 suicides off the bridge in 2004.
