Christopher Hood
Christopher Cropper Hood (born 1947) is a visiting Professor of the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford, and an Emeritus Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford. Hood was Gladstone Professor of Government at All Souls College, Oxford, from 2001 to 2014, and Director of the ESRC Research Programme ''Public Services: Quality, Performance and Delivery'' from 2004 to 2010. His books include ''The Limits of Administration'' (1976), ''The Tools of Government'' (1983) (updated as ''The Tools of Government in the Digital Age'' (2007) with Helen Margetts), '' The Art of the State'' (1998 and 2000) and '' A Government that Worked Better and Cost Less?'' The Political Studies Association (PSA) is a learned society in the United Kingdom which exists to develop and promote the study of politics. It is the leading association in its field in the United Kingdom, with an international membership including academics in political science and current affairs, theorists and practitioners, policy makers, researchers and students in higher education. ''Public Administration'' is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal which covers research, theory, and practice in public administration, public policy, public organization theory, and public management. Eugene Bardach
Eugene Bardach is an American political scientist. He is an emeritus professor at the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. He is known for developing the eightfold path framework of policy analysis that is commonly used in public policy and public administration scholarship. Biography Bardach received his B.A. from Columbia University in 1961 and PhD from the University of California, Berkeley in 1969. He began teaching at Berkeley after receiving his PhD, and took a short leave of absence to work for the Office of Policy Analysis at the United States Department of the Interior. His scholarship has focused on policy implementation and public management as well as how to improve interorganizational collaboration in service delivery. He served as acting dean of the Goldman School of Public Policy in 1997 and in 1987–1988.
