''The Three Friends and Jerry'' ''()'' is a children's animated television series produced by Happy Life and TMO Film GmbH (Germany) in association with Nickelodeon UK and Nickelodeon Germany. The show was created by the Swedish illustrator Magnus Carlsson. HIT Entertainment distributes the series internationally and is listed in the end credits. When HIT Entertainment partnered to launch PBS Kids Sprout in 2005, ''The Three Friends and Jerry'' was made available on Sprout on Demand. Plot Jerry is the new kid in town who does not fit with any of his classmates. This show follows his best attempts to join the 'Three Friends' – Thomas, Eric, and their leader Frank – who do not want him to be part of their group but still let him hang out with them as long as he helps them with their schemes or problems. Magnus Carlsson (illustrator)
Magnus Carlsson (born 20 April 1965) is a Swedish illustrator, director and animator. Biography Carlsson was born in Gothenburg, Västra Götaland. He started animating professionally in 1988. In the early 90s, Carlsson made stop-motion animated shorts, often with satirical themes''.'' In 1996, he began making ''Robin,'' a series of shorts about a young man's urban adventures. The ''Robin'' shorts were popular with the members of the English rock band Radiohead, who commissioned Carlsson to create the video for their song "Paranoid Android", featuring the Robin character. His other television works include '' The Three Friends and Jerry'', which has been distributed to over 100 countries, and the children's short series ''Lisa.'' In 2006, Carlsson made the stop-motion feature film '' Desmond & the Swamp Barbarian Trap.'' SVT Barn, formerly Barnkanalen and SVT B, is a Swedish free-to-air television channel from state broadcaster Sveriges Television dedicated to children's television programming. ''Barn'' is Swedish for ''children'', whereas ''Barnkanalen'' meant ''The Children's Channel''. (No relation to the British '' The Children's Channel''.) In the first semester of 2023 alone, SVT Barn had a daily reach of viewers exceeding 100 times the volume that Disney Channel has in Sweden. Jetix
Jetix (stylized in all caps) was a children's entertainment brand owned by The Walt Disney Company. The brand was for a slate of action and adventure-related programming blocks and television channels. Jetix programming mainly originated from the Saban Entertainment library, airing live-action and animated series with some original programming. The channel's target audience was older children and adolescents aged 8–15.
