AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup
The AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup, previously the AFC Women's Futsal Championship, is the premier national women's futsal competition of the Asian Football Confederation nations. Iran have won both editions held to date. The 2015 AFC Women's Futsal Championship, first edition was held in Malaysia from 17 to 26 September 2015. The 2018 AFC Women's Futsal Championship, second edition was held in Thailand from 2 to 12 May 2018. The 2020 AFC Women's Futsal Championship, third edition was scheduled to be held in Kuwait in 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Futsal Week U-19 Cup is an international youth futsal tournament organized by Futsal Week. The first edition of the tournament was held in 2018. AFC Futsal Club Championship
The AFC Futsal Club Championship is the current highest Asian futsal club competition, hosted by the Asian Football Confederation. It is futsal equivalent to AFC Champions League. For the inaugural edition, AFC Futsal Committee decided to make it an invitational event, and each member association has been asked to nominate their national league champions for the tournament. History and format A trial edition, named 2006 Asia Futsal Cup, was run in 2006 with six teams participating. Iranian team Shensa Saveh beat Uzbek Ardus FC 5–1 in the final. The first recognised edition by the AFC was held in 2010 and ran with ten teams, forming two groups of five teams. The top two finishers then proceeded to the semi-finals. Since 2015 the final tournament is played with 12 teams. If more national league champions wish to enter a team, all but the top three finishers of the last tournament and the host nation, have to enter a qualification stage. The AFC Futsal Asian Cup, previously the AFC Futsal Championship, is the premier international futsal competition for the Asian Football Confederation national teams.
