Camellia Sinensis
''Camellia sinensis'' is a species of evergreen shrub or small tree in the flowering plant family Theaceae. Its leaves, leaf buds, and stems can be used to produce tea. Common names include tea plant, tea shrub, and tea tree (unrelated to ''Melaleuca alternifolia'', the source of tea tree oil, or the genus ''Leptospermum'' commonly called tea tree). White tea, yellow tea, green tea, oolong, dark tea (which includes pu-erh tea) and black tea are all harvested from two of the five varieties which form the main crops now grown, ''C. sinensis'' var. ''sinensis'' and ''C. s.'' var. ''assamica'', but are Tea processing, processed differently to attain varying levels of oxidation with black tea being the most oxidized and white being the least. Kukicha (twig tea) is also harvested from ''C. sinensis'', but uses twigs and stems rather than leaves. Description ''Camellia sinensis'' is native to East Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, and Southeast Asia, but it is today cultivated all aro ... Test Of Essential Academic Skills
The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS Test) is a standardized, multiple choice entrance exam for students applying to nursing and allied health programs in the United States. It is often used to determine the preparedness of potential students to enter into a nursing or allied health program. The test is created and administered by Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI). The test can be taken as a proctored exam at an educational institution that offers it, at certain testing centers, or as a remote-proctored test through ATI. History In 1999, ATI commissioned University of Kansas professors John Poggio and Douglas Glasnapp to develop the first TEAS. Since then, the test has undergone several changes and revisions. On August 31, 2016, the TEAS V test was retired in favor of the newest version called ATI TEAS 6. ATI announced the ATI TEAS 6 would be retired in June 2022 and be replaced with the ATI TEAS 7. While the difficulty is essentially the same, all components were u ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Helium Atom Scattering
Helium atom scattering (HAS) is a surface analysis technique used in materials science. It provides information about the surface structure and lattice dynamics of a material by measuring the diffracted atoms from a monochromatic helium beam incident on the sample. History The first recorded helium diffraction experiment was completed in 1930 by Immanuel Estermann and Otto Stern on the (100) crystal face of lithium fluoride. This experimentally established the feasibility of atom diffraction when the de Broglie wavelength, λ, of the impinging atoms is on the order of the interatomic spacing of the material. At the time, the major limit to the experimental resolution of this method was due to the large velocity spread of the helium beam. It wasn't until the development of high pressure nozzle sources capable of producing intense and strongly monochromatic beams in the 1970s that HAS gained popularity for probing surface structure. Interest in studying the collision of rarefied ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |
